About Me

Kevin Harper.

I was born in Queens, New York and moved to Dusseldorf, Germany with my mother before I could speak. Growing up 'between cultures' made me feel naturally at home in multi-cultural environments.

In 1997 I came back to New York and studied Graphic Design / Digital Media. Once I earned my degree, I worked as a 3D Animator for a Broadcast Television Animation Studio, where I was responsible for animating characters and vehicles for the Discovery Channel show "Stunt Junkies".

From then on my 3D Art Skills evolved through experience in a vast number of industries. I am grateful for the depth and variety of experiences I've been fortunate to have. This makes me a better professional now and laid a solid foundation for the work I am truly passionate about, game design.

Today, my bread and butter are 3D Architectual Renders and TV commercial gigs. My passion, however, is Game Design and development. This is what I truly enjoy and spend an increasing amount of time with.

Vision

My passion and my future is in game design. I have developed 2 iPhone games thus far and I am currently working on my 3rd. I hope to work for a Game Studio in the near future but I am not leaving it up to chance. I am working vigorously to improve my games with every release.

Medium term I'd like to see my main source of income shift to game work with architectural work and TV commercial gigs slowly playing a smaller role. The long term goal is to start my own game studio in
10 years.
